[img=161785 right]Pointe de la Terrasse, couloir NE, col de la Terrasse depuis Loriaz[/img] >From Le Couteray take the forest road leading up to the Grange and then the Loriaz chalets. >It is possible to leave the forest road after the second hairpin, taking a path on the right leading to the Loriaz chalets. This path rejoins the forest road for 100m near the Granges chalets. Shortly after leaving the forest road for the second time, the path becomes awkward with skis, depending on the snow, but these difficulties are short lived. >On arriving at the chalets de Loriaz at 2020m traverse the W flank of the Charmoz following the line of the summer path., going diagonally left across a plateau towards the cwm which leads to the foot of a steep gully at about 2450m. Climb the gully avoiding the cornice at the top to the left or right, (varies from year to year). >##Descent >By the same route. Early in the season one can descend straight down through the forest to avoid the long traverses on the forest track. If not follow the road. >If snow conditions are good it is possible to ski down the gully under the Tête de la Chevrette by leaving the forest road at the top hairpin. Re gain the road at the level of the Granges chalets, having exited the bottom of the gully to the left.

##Montée >Du Couteray prendre la route forestière menant aux chalets des Granges puis de Loriaz. >Il y aussi possibilité de quitter la route forestière après le 2^e virage pour prendre le chemin à droite menant aux chalets de Loriaz. Ce chemin retrouve la route forestière pour 100 m au niveau des Granges. Peu après avoir quitté la route le chemin présente quelques difficultés en fonction de la neige, ces difficultés sont de courte durée. >Arrivé aux chalets de Loriaz à 2020 m poursuivre par la direction du chemin d'été par une traversée à flanc orientée W sous le Charmoz, obliquer à gauche sur le plateau le traverser en direction d'une combe qui mène vers 2450 m au pied d'un couloir raide. Gravir le couloir jusqu'à la corniche en l'évitant par la droite ou la gauche suivant les années et l'enneigement. >##Descente >Par le même itinéraire, tôt en saison, la descente de la forêt peut se faire tout droit afin d'éviter les longues traversées par la piste. Sinon prendre la route. >### Variante >Si l'enneigement est bon possibilité de descendre le couloir sous la Tête de la Chevrette en quittant la route forestière dès la première épingle en haut. Retrouver cette route au niveau des Granges après être sorti du couloir par la gauche en bas. >La trace Gps indique cette variante
