À l'arrivée de du télésiège de l'Index (Flégère) prendre le [[routes/45633|traditionnel itinéraire de Crochue/Bérard]]. Du col des Crochues, traverser jusqu'à la Combe de l'Envers de Bérard, la descendre légèrement (2220 m) pour prendre versant S un couloir menant à l'arête SW de l'aiguille de Bérard. Suivre cette arête jusqu'à la brèche de Bérard. >[img=162151 right]Itinéraires : fond du vallon de Bérard[/img]>###Descente>De la brèche de Bérard descendre en contournant une barre rocheuse par la gauche ou la droite pour rejoindre le fond de la vallée de Bérard et le village du Buet.
