Da Graniga seguire la strada in direzione N per un km fino a superare il torrente su un lungo ponte, poi puntare a N verso le case di Varencio, poi Rosalpe (1330m) e Cimora. Si prosegue ancora verso N tagliando i tornanti della strada arrivare fino alla caratteristica chiesetta di San Bernardo (1628m). Da qui addentrarsi i leggera salita nel fitto bosco seguendo il sentiero estivo (WNW) passando prima per il lago Arza e poi per il lago Ragozza (1958m) proseguendo in direzione WSW fino alla Bocchetta di Gattascosa (2158m). >Dalla bocchetta due possibilità: con neve buona risalire i ripidi pendii N della cima di Verosso al meglio tra i massi affioranti e le pendenze migliori, dal colletto seguire la cresta verso E e in breve portarsi alla vetta (due grossi ometti di pietra); oppure traversare in direzione SSW a mezzacosta su un pendio molto ripido verso una valletta (piccolo lago senza nome), volgere decisamente a Est e salire per un canalone ad una evidente sella (Passo di Oriaccia, 2326m, non nominato sulle carte), dalla sella si raggiunge la vetta per ampia cresta percorribile con gli sci. >## Discesa >Per l'itinerario di salita.
