##Montée>De St-Rhémy, suivre un chemin dans la forêt en direction NW, passer près du chalet d'alpage (1721 m) puis sous la route et le tunnel du Grand St-Bernard. >Continuer par la route du col enneigée jusqu'au virage 1961 m puis monter à travers pente en direction de l'alpage de Praz de Farcoz. De cet alpage remonter la large combe SE évidente en direction du col du Fourchon en fond de vallon.>Les 100 derniers mètres se raidissent progressivement, jusqu'à 35/40° sous le col.>Il est possible aussi d'atteindre l'épaule légèrement plus haute (2731 m) à droite du col. Cette épaule est plus facile d'accès et offre une pente plus large au départ.>##Descente>Par le même itinéraire.
