Fuori dal bosco il panorama si apre e si è davanti alla ampia spianata del Pian Belvedere, al cui termine si inizia a salire direzione S e, sempre affiancati al Rio Forneris, si guadagna quota avvicinandosi alla corona montuosa che delimita l'anfiteatro.>Le pendenze si accentuano e si guadagna quota raggiungendo il Pas des Blanches (o Colle del Ferro S), caratterizzato da un evidente pinnacolo calcareo.
