Des granges de Freydières, gagner le lac Crozet par l'itinéraire classique. >Après le lac, tourner dans le vallon de droite avant le col de la Pra, qui monte au Grand Colon par son versant E. On atteint une selle vers 2350 m. >Le sommet est juste en face, il s'atteint par une traversée de 200 m environ (en distance), passer sous une barre et rejoindre un petit col peu marqué puis le sommet par une épaule.
