Descendre en visant la Cabane de la Vivolle (2411 m) d’où le remonte le versant E du Neyrard (2796 m). >Du sommet, on peut descendre par un petit couloir SE (S4) ou s’abaisser à la selle entre le sommet et le point 2770 m et plonger dans la vaste combe S en S3 qui mène au grand replat à 2000 m où se trouve la Cabane de la Selle (1902 m).
