Depuis le lieu-dit Damon à 1350 m suivre la piste forestière s'enfonçant dans le bois de Bouroz direction N puis NE au départ. Passer Bourney à 1455 m. Ensuite monter à vue par des clairières successives et une forêt clairsemée de mélèzes, couper plusieurs fois la piste forestière (piste de ski de fond en hiver) et atteindre Pra de Bosc à 1736 m. De cet alpage, prendre à l'E en suivant globalement le chemin d'été n<sup>o</sup>1 et atteindre le col Portola à 1966 m par une pente plus raide. De là, rejoindre légèrement au N le sommet du Mont Portola à 1985 m.>##Descente>Par le même itinéraire
