Du parking Les Sestrières 1980 m peu avant le paravalanche à 1 km avant le col du Lautaret, même itinéraire au départ que [Pic Blanc du Galibier : Versant SE](/routes/45457/fr/pic-blanc-du-galibier-versant-se) jusqu'aux chalets de la Mandette, delà continuer en rive gauche du torrent du Galibier et rejoindre le refuge du Galibier, puis NW jusqu'à 2650 m en suivant monter SW la croupe à peine marquée pour atteindre le sommet du Petit Galibier W 2826 m.>Pour compléter la sortie, du Petit Galibier W suivre NW la ligne de crête pour rejoindre le Pic Blanc du Galibier 2955 m.>## Descente>Du Petit Galibier W l'itinéraire emprunté à la montée.
