- lorsqu'on quitte la route de la Ramaz on peut monter presque tout de suite à gauche pour arriver sur le petit plateau au SE de la Pointe, plus court que par le col de Vesinaz >- par bon enneigement on peut descendre plus bas que 1600 m pour rejoindre le chalet de Chavan >- possibilité de faire la Haute Pointe en montant vers l'E dans une belle combe depuis le col de Chavan (+200 m D+)
