Da Pila seguire le piste (meglio chiuse) che portano all' arrivo della seggiovia Grimondet (2200m circa - e' l' ultimo impianto sulla destra faccia a monte). Da qui seguire il bel vallone che, passando ai piedi del versante est della Pointe de la Pierre porta alla cresta spartiacque con la valle di cogne appena a destra di alcuni evidenti ripetitori. Piegare a sinistra e sulla facile cresta ovest raggiungere i ripetitori e l' ometto di vetta.
