Source directions
Du Pont de l'Alpe, remonter rive gauche le torrent du Rif. Vers 2330 m, rejoindre vers l'W (S2), le col au N des Arêtes de la Bruyère (2435 m) qui domine le Grand Lac. Redescendre en traversée (NW) pour rejoindre le fond du vallon au N du Grand Lac (env. 2350 m). Le remonter NW, puis dès que possible, obliquer W pour une pente S3 accédant à un nouveau vallon que l'on suit en direction du S en visant la brèche qui se situe immédiatement à l'W de Roche Colombe (env. 2730 m).>Aller-retour au sommet facultatif.>## Descente>De cette brèche, descendre par un étroit couloir (S4 100 m) orienté S, puis des pentes larges SE (S3-S4 250 m). Par des pentes plus faciles, on rejoint l'itinéraire de montée au hameau de l'Alpe du Lauzet (1940 m).
