##Approach >Park where the road ends, (in winter) and a ski piste begins above La Fouly, at Le Clou, (also known as Les Granges.) >##Route >From Le Clou, cross the river and follow the ski du fond track, parallel to the road until level with the first houses at Ferret. Go up the clearing on the right to a tourist signpost showing footpaths. Traverse past some larches towards the "Pramplo" pastures to reach the "Cretté Létemaire". >Go up this ridge to a large boulder then trend leftwards to the summit. >Be careful!, if there is an avalanche risk, windslab is likely beneath the summit. In which case follow the ridge to the summit. >From the Dotse one can go W to the Tête de Ferret by the Planfins ridge (obvious). >##Descent >By the same route if you only go as far as the Dotse. >From the summit of the Tête de Ferret, go down the N face, then easy angled slopes towards the "Crette de la Perche". Go diagonally rightwards to the "Creux de la Gouille" and regain the valley via the Léchère chalets. >*(Alternatively, you can go down the "Combe des Fonds" to la Fouly.)*

## Salita >Dopo frazione di La Fouly seguire verso la frazione di Ferret, poco prima, sulla destra, scendere verso il torrente ed attraversarlo. >Da qui salire sulla sinistra seguendo, prima nel bosco, la cresta N della Dotse. Dopo i 2000 metri, bosco rado, seguire più o meno il filo di cresta fino alla vetta >Dalla cima della Dotse scendere lungo il crestone SO che congiunge il Ferret: si perdono meno di 100 m. Dal colletto a 2425 inizia la risalita verso il Ferret; in base alla condizioni si può salire nell'ampio pendio di destra oppure più verso la cresta di destra (cresta SE). Si arriva in vetta con gli sci. >## Discesa >Dall'itineraio di salita (risalendo sulla Dotse) >### Variante ad anello: discesa dal versante N >Dal culmine, direttamente nel versante N. Primi 100 metri molto ripidi (40° circa), poi sempre meno fino alla vallone del Col Ferret. Scendere lungo il vallone e verso quota 2144 sulla destra entrare nella valle fra Ferret e Dotse. Seguire il sentiero estivo che traversa verso N, poi scendere fino a riprendere il ponte e la strada Ferret - La Fouly. Continuare su facili pendii verso il persico W Crette. Leggermente a destra in Creux de la Gouille e partecipare alla valle da Léchère chalet. >Difficoltà S4

##Montée >Du hameau du Clou en dessus de La Fouly, traverser la rivière et suivre la piste de ski de fond en contrebas de la route jusqu'à la hauteur des premières maisons de Ferret. >Puis monter dans la clairière à droite jusqu'à un panneau du Tourisme pédestre. Ensuite continuer à travers les mélèzes, en direction de l'alpage de Pramplo et rejoindre au mieux Cretté Létemaire. >Remonter cette crête jusqu'à un gros caillou puis tirer à gauche et rejoindre après quelques buttes le sommet. >Attention, en cas de risque avalanche, il y a un **fort risque de départ en plaques sous le sommet en face N**. Dans ce cas, suivre l'arête jusqu'au sommet. >De la Dotse on rejoint la tête de Ferret vers l'W par l'arête des Planfins (évident). >##Descente >Du point culminant, directement dans la face N. Poursuivre par des pentes faciles en direction à l'W de Crette de la perche. Obliquer à droite au Creux de la Gouille et rejoindre la vallée par les chalets Léchère. >###Variante >On peut également emprunter la combe des Fonds jusqu'à la Fouly.
