Depuis Planaval, suivre l'itinéraire du Château Blanc, une fois sur le glacier du Château Blanc, ne pas se diriger vers la pente terminale du Château Blanc mais vers le col du Château Blanc à 3268 m. Franchir ce col pour prendre pied sur le glacier du Ruitor, suivant l'enneigement le passage du col peut-être délicat versant W. Rejoindre ensuite la voie normale italienne partant du refuge Deffeyes et atteindre ainsi le sommet.>##Descente>Par le même itinéraire.
