From Vorderstoder, head south, to the Schafferteich pond (874m), then follow the forest road mostly flat until 950m, where there is a hut (drinks and food) and a water source. >Then keep on the path straight across the forest always heading S/SW. until ~1450m. The way is marked with red/white signs. >Around ~1450m, where it is flatter, turn slightly to the left (SE) and continue up the obvious valley between the steep cliffs of Warscheneck (E) and Torstein (W) until the pass at 2004m >## Descent >Same way

There is a possibility to reach the pass from the south side, from the top of the nearby Wurzenalm ski resort. Which makes it a popular route, with lots of tracks (bottom part often looks more like a piste)
