Si scende al fiume alla centrale del teleriscaldamento. A fianco si inizia la salita seguendo le indicazioni (n°18)) per la Malga Auerberg (il sentiero ripido taglia quasi tutta la strada forestale che conviene seguire in discesa). Dalla malga (1644m) superare lo sbarramento roccioso salendo da sinistra a destra o per il cono di valanga alla sua estrema sinistra (solo con condizioni sicure). Sopra il salto roccioso si trova la malga Seefeld (2110m); da questa procedere in direzione SE fino ad una conca da cui dopo due risalti in direzione N ci si trova sotto la ripida paretina finale che si risale meglio sul lato destro sino alla grossa croce di vetta.
