Da Thures seguire la strada a saliscendi fino alle grange Rhuilles quidi salire a destra nel bosco fino alle grange Chabaud e al successivo ponte. Spostarsi a sinistra del vallone sulla traccia del sentiero estivo fino all'ampio pianoro che precede il Col Chabaud. Prendere a sinistra un canale lungo circa 300-400 m quindi a destra su un ampio pendio per sbucare nell'ampio vallone in leggera ascesa che porta sotto i pendii finali. Volgere ulteriormene a destra lungo un ampio pendio faticoso fino ad arrivare sulla dorsale con la valle della Cervieirette da seguire brevemente fino alla punta.
