##Montée >De Valmaure, suivre longuement la rive gauche de la Combe du Tépey jusqu'à l'altitude de 1760 m (la Pierre à Barme). >Quitter l'itinéraire de la Selle du Puy Gris en remontant le vallon au SW. Vers 2000 m, attaquer l'ascension de la face N. La pente est large et assez peu inclinée sur la moitié inférieure (35-40°). Sur le haut par contre, c'est plus raide (45°) et plus encaissé (dédale de couloirs et de rochers). >Dans le final, une étroiture évidente permet d'accéder à la cime du Sambuis. >##Descente >Par le même itinéraire. Inclinaison à 45° sur 150 m, puis 40° sur 500 m. Exposition assez importante: risque de percussion de rochers, notamment dans la moitié supérieure.
