##Itinéraire >De Sous-l'Aiguille suivre le chemin d'été (dans les bois) qui mène aux chalets de Tardevant. >Remonter la combe en restant à gauche du lac de Tardevant. Les 150 derniers mètres pour rejoindre la pointe S sont les plus raides (40°). >##Descente >Descendre soit par l'itinéraire de montée soit en traversant sous les pentes NW de la Mandallaz (préférable, ne serait ce que pour éviter de croiser des personnes qui montent dans des passages boisés étroits) >On peut aussi rejoindre le col S de l'Etale en tirant plein E après le lac de Tardevant (débouche du couloir des Contrebandiers en versant Giettaz) ou le point 2143 m : difficulté 2.3
