Du parking de l'Arpettaz, au bout de la route des Confins, suivre le GR jusqu'au chalets de Paccaly, puis le quitter (légère descente) pour attaquer la combe de Paccaly.>Suivre grosso modo le tracé d'été : monter à gauche presque jusqu'au chalet de Paccaly d'en haut avant de revenir au centre de la combe jusqu'au replat 2150.>Passer sous la tête de Paccaly (rive droite) avant de repiquer au centre pour le passage du père.>##Descente>À la descente, on évite la remontée vers le chalet de Paccaly en coupant en forêt sur la gauche vers le point 1520.
