De Valmaure (1205 m), remonter la combe du Tépey par le chemin d'été en rive gauche du torrent jusqu'aux chalets du Tépey (1425 m).>Continuer W jusqu'à la séparation du vallon vers Pierre Barme (1750 m). Prendre SW dans le vallon de Malvas. Vers 2200 m prendre plein S en direction du col du Sambuis.>Du col (2500 m environ) faire une traversée vers l'ESE pour rejoindre la voie normale du Sambuis (2475 m). Atteindre le sommet par sa pente S. Possibilité aussi de remonter un des couloirs S.>##Descente>Descendre par la face S ou l'un des couloirs S jusqu'au plan des Trois Eaux (combe de la croix). Continuer en traversée main droite jusqu'à la route du Glandon et laisser glisser jusqu'à La Chal. rejoindre le parking de Valmaure en 5min à pied.
